Introduction

Procurement & Logistics Services Grenada Ltd. ("PLS Grenada," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of users ("Users," "you," or "your") of KonnectWI Platform (“the Site”). This Privacy Policy ("Policy") outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you access and use the Platform. By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in this Policy. This Privacy Policy applies to our registered buyers and sellers, that is, Users, and anyone who visits the Site or uses our Services.

This Privacy Policy applies retroactively to your interactions with PLS Grenada before becoming a User or agreeing to this Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, you may not use the Sites and Services.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Data: The term personal data means any information about an individual from which that individual may be identified. It does not, therefore, include data where the identity has been removed (anonymized data). We may collect, store and use some or all the following categories of data about you.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information: We automatically collect certain information about your device and usage of the Platform, such as:

2. How We Use Your Information

That said, we process your personal data to fulfill our contract with you and to provide you with our Services as well as for the execution of the transaction between seller and buyer.   • Provide and improve the Platform:To operate, maintain, and enhance the Platform's functionality and user experience.
  • Facilitate booking transactions: to enable communication and transactions between users which includes but is not limited to taking and handling orders, and processing payments.
  • Customer support: To respond to your inquiries and provide assistance.
  • Personalization: To customize your experience on the Platform and recommend relevant items or services.
  • Marketing communications: To send you promotional emails or notifications about new features, offers, and updates (you can opt out of these communications).
  • Legal compliance: To comply with applicable laws and regulations.

3. Disclosure of Your Information

We disclose your information to the following third parties:

  • Other users: To provide services to you and facilitate communication and transactions between Users.
  • Service providers: To assist us with payment processing, data analytics, email marketing, and other essential functions.
  • Professional advisors and Legal authorities: (i) to obtain legal advice; (ii) to comply with applicable law or regulations, court orders, subpoenas or summons, legal process or government requests, comply with legal obligations, such as responding to subpoenas or court orders; (iii) detect, investigate, prevent or address actual or suspected fraud violations of PLS Grenada Terms of Use, and other illegal activity or security and technical issues; (iv) to protect rights, property and safety of Users.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets.

4. Data Protection and contact

Procurement & Logistics Services Grenada Ltd. oversees the protection of your personal data. We are the data controller for the information that we collect when you visit the Platform. That means that we decide how to use information about you and we are responsible for looking after your personal data in accordance with data protection legislation. We will explain below how we collect and use your personal data, and what we mean by the term ‘personal data’. Please note that when we refer to ‘processing’ your personal data, what we mean is using your personal data in connection with this Platform by acquiring it, using it, storing it, communicating it to other people (with your consent or as part of our service to you) or deleting it.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to mitigate the risk of unlawful or unauthorized access, destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure, or use of your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security. 6. Storage duration and erasure

Your personal data will be stored by us in accordance with laws of the Data Protection Act No. 3 of 2023 Laws of Grenada to the extent necessary for the processing purposes set out in the Services of users. Subsequently, we will delete your personal data in accordance with our data retention and deletion policy or take steps to properly render the data anonymous, unless we are legally obliged or permitted to keep your personal data longer.

7. Data Retention

Data is kept in a form which permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed. Our fixed retention period is minimum of 7 to a maximum of 10 years. How long we retain personal data may vary depending on the Services we provide and our legal obligations. The following factors affect the retention period:

  • Necessity for the provision of our Services: This includes such things as executing the Terms of Service with you, maintaining and improving the performance of our services, keeping our systems secure, and maintaining appropriate business and financial records. Most of our retention periods are determined based on this general rule.
  • Statutory, contractual or other similar obligations: Corresponding storage obligations may arise, for example, from laws or judicial orders. It may also be necessary to store personal data regarding pending or future legal disputes.

PLS Grenada gives you the choice of accessing, editing or removing certain information as well as choice about how we contact you:

  • you can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of many of the services on the Site
  • where we rely on consent, you can choose to withdraw your consent to our processing of your information using, for example, an email unsubscribe link or your account privacy preferences.
  • you may have the right to request access to or delete your personal information to the extent required by law
