SGU Orientation Week
Book your car rental before you arrive. Providers get booked out during orientation — reserve at least 2 weeks ahead.
Housing Areas
Most students live in Grand Anse, Lance Aux Épines, or True Blue. Your car rental provider can deliver to any of these areas.
Monthly vs. Semester
Semester-long rentals (4–5 months) are cheaper per month than month-to-month. Ask providers for their best rate.
Payment Options
Most providers accept US credit cards. Some offer payment plans for semester-long rentals — ask when you book.
Fuel & Driving
Gas stations are cash-only (EC$). The drive from campus to Grand Anse is ~10 minutes. Roads are hilly — a 4×4 helps.
